Research: Empower Field Teams and Deliver Value on the Frontlines

Between 2020-22, we implemented an 18-month programme with female frontline workers of a large immunization programme to empower them to identify and provide solutions to constraints faced by the programme in vaccinating children in their target geographies. As part of the programme, we:

-Designed and led multiple HCD workshops with frontline workers using a problem-solving methodology to help them unbundle issues hindering full vaccination in their areas (including their motivation, job safety etc) and systematically develop and submit ideas to resolve the issues to improve vaccination outcomes of communities.

-Worked with the programme and its partners to shortlist and implement selected ideas.

-Conducted various primary data collection activities - diagnostic study, evaluation assessment as well as shadowed front-line workers over several weeks.
